Aboriginal Community Outreach Coordinator

This role involves providing advice and support to commands on local Aboriginal issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop relationships with Elders, Leaders and Aboriginal community members
- Establish a network of contacts to strengthen cooperation and communication
- Provide guidance and support to ensure the success of initiatives
To be successful in this role you will need to have Aboriginality as a genuine occupational qualification. You will also need to hold a Working With Children Check (WWCC) and sign a Prohibited Employment Declaration as part of NSW Child Protection requirements.
Eligibility and Requirements:- Must have a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and protocols
- Must be willing to work in a collaborative team environment
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a background check and provide references. This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary).
