About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Structural Engineer to lead our structural engineering team in Perth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and mentoring to the structural/civil team from concept through to detailed engineering design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical lead for structural engineering on various projects
  • Engineering design calculations, analysis, checks, and reviews
  • Developing efficient structural engineering designs and overseeing design documentation
  • Involvement in business development activities, including bids and client interactions
  • Client coordination, including meeting client expectations and project objectives
  • Technical reports and tender submissions
  • Project management for the delivery of consulting projects
  • Team management and review
  • Software and system implementation
  • Structural engineering audits and system improvements
  • Commercial and monthly project reporting
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced structural engineer with a strong background in civil/structural engineering. You will have a bachelor or master's degree in civil/structural engineering and a minimum of 15 years of experience working in an engineering consultant environment or in equipment, piping, process, and/or mining-related design.

You will have excellent communication skills, proven time management and project coordination skills, and a high level of attention to detail and documentation writing. You will also have the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions.
