Job Description:

This role involves operating and maintaining equipment such as laser cutters, press brakes, water jets, and roller machinery. Assembling basic flight hardware, including torqueing fasteners, is also a key responsibility. Reading blueprints to ensure parts meet customer needs is another crucial task.

  • Operate and maintain complex machinery
  • Assemble flight hardware with precision
  • Verify part conformance using inspection tools
  • Fabricate tight tolerance parts from various sheet metal materials
Required Skills & Qualifications:

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 1+ years of experience working with machinery in a shop environment
Preferred Skills & Experience:

While not required, having these skills and experiences can give you an edge:

  • 5+ years of machine operating experience
  • Experience operating all equipment in a high-volume sheet metal fabrication shop
  • High mechanical aptitude
Additional Requirements:

Working in this role requires:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods - 8 hours minimum
  • Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces
  • Comfortable with repetitive movement, bending or twisting, and using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
