Job Description:

The Engagement and Impact Officer role involves providing comprehensive support for a diverse range of activities across the School of Music and the School of Art & Design.

This includes event coordination, stakeholder engagement, media outreach, research, and research impact activities. The officer will work closely with administrative and technical teams, as well as liaise with academic staff members and college functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate events and activities to promote the school's research and creative output.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including academics, researchers, and external partners.
  • Provide information and guidance on university policies, procedures, and guidelines to support initiatives that align with the school's strategic goals.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of art and music events, exhibitions, and concerts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
