Job Opportunity

The role of Property Services Assistant is a vital part of the school's upkeep and maintenance team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support with scheduled and responsive maintenance tasks.
  • Help set up and pack down events, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Oversee the organization and procurement of tools and equipment.
  • Conduct minor repairs on school property as needed.
Key Accountabilities
  • Exhibit leadership qualities that reflect our Christian values among staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
  • Approach daily duties with a prayerful attitude and adhere to a Biblical lifestyle.
  • Align strategies and actions with the college's vision and mission.
Maintenance & Repairs
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on school buildings, classrooms, and facilities.
  • Inspect and repair doors, windows, locks, and fixtures to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Patch and paint walls, ceilings, and surfaces as required.
  • Fix minor plumbing issues, such as leaking taps, blocked drains, and running toilets.
  • Maintain and repair school furniture, including desks, chairs, and shelves.
Grounds & Outdoor Maintenance
  • Ensure the school grounds are clean, safe, and well-presented at all times.
  • Carry out landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming hedges, pruning trees, and removing weeds.
  • Maintain outdoor play equipment, ensuring safety and proper functionality.
Safety & Compliance
  • Conduct regular safety checks and inspections on school property to identify potential hazards.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and report any hazards, taking necessary steps to address them or escalating issues to management.
