Job Title

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate individual to join our team as a Resident Wellbeing Assistant. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of older people by providing high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement Activity Programs: Develop and deliver engaging activity programs that promote resident well-being and social interaction.
  • Conduct Consumer Assessments: Review and complete assessments to ensure accurate and effective care planning for residents.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with volunteers, therapy, and care staff to deliver person-centered care and support.
  • Care Planning: Support the development and implementation of care plans that meet the unique needs and preferences of residents.

Requirements:

  • RACS-approved qualification in Leisure and Lifestyle or Aged Care
  • At least 1 year's experience in a similar position
  • Experience with dementia care and knowledge of memory support programs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents and families
  • Compassionate approach to managing and supporting elderly residents and individuals with disabilities
