Personal Care Attendant Role

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by providing high-quality person-centred care.

Our residents require assistance with daily life tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and social activities. As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively to support our residents with challenging needs, maintaining their health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on support with daily life tasks to ensure our residents feel heard, comfortable, and well-fed.
  • Collaborate with our team to address the unique needs of each resident, ensuring their physical and emotional comfort.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation to track resident progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Build meaningful relationships with our residents, providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality regarding resident privacy and dignity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience as a Carer within a Residential Aged Care home is mandatory.
  • Able to work a variety of days and shifts, including morning, afternoon, and evening/night shifts.
  • Strong desire to make a positive impact in people's lives, delivering exceptional care and services.
  • Solid clinical documentation and computer skills are necessary for effective communication and record-keeping.
