Chefs with a passion for culinary excellence are sought to lead the kitchen in delivering high-quality catering and hospitality services. They will work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless meal preparation, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be hands-on, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. They will have a positive rapport with their team and restaurant guests, ensuring efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare meals during service times, coordinating with the food team to ensure timely and quality service.
  • Lead a small team of cooks to achieve exceptional results in menu planning, ordering stock, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Develop fresh ideas for menu creation and collaborate with colleagues to implement new concepts.
  • Monitor daily Food Safety checklists and enforce adherence to all safety policies.
  • Complete stock management tasks including ordering, rotation, and amendments to optimize kitchen operations.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef in an à la carte dining setting, hotel restaurant setting, or casual dining setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
