Job Title: Home Care Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Support Worker to join our team. This rewarding role will involve providing in-home support services to our aged care customers, empowering them to live independently within their own homes and communities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with clients and their families. They will also need to be flexible and available to work various shifts between Monday and Friday.

  • About the Role:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Provide transportation and personal care for clients, including showering, toileting, and feeding.
  • Build relationships with clients and their families, conducting client observations and providing ongoing support and training.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our clients safe.

Requirements:

  • Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday.

We welcome applicants who have experience working with disability or mental health, or who have a qualification in nursing or social work. You could be an experienced Support Worker or even new to the industry coming from customer service, administration, retail, or hospitality.
