Compassionate Care Support Worker

Care Support Workers play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. They provide daily living support, companionship and emotional reassurance.
Key Responsibilities:- Personal Care: Assist with washing, bathing, dressing, toileting, shaving and dental care
- Medication Administration: Support with and administer medication as per care plans
- Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Help with meal preparation, hydration and monitoring nutrition intake
- Moving and Handling: Carry out safe moving and handling practices
- Domestic Tasks: Perform light domestic tasks such as washing dishes, changing linen and emptying bins
- Companionship: Provide companionship and stimulating conversation
- Client Independence: Promote client independence and encourage participation in daily activities
- Record Keeping: Record care tasks using the designated app
- Safeguarding: Raise any safeguarding concerns promptly according to procedures
- Personality: A kind, compassionate and empathetic approach
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and listening skills
- Independence: Confidence to work independently or as part of a team
- Language: Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Commitment: A commitment to upholding high standards of care
- Driving License: Driving licence and access to a vehicle required
