Support Worker - Full-Time Position
We are excitedto offer a Max term full-time role for aSupport Worker, based in theNorth Ryde / Hornsby area.

Hours

You will work Monday to Friday, day shift.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Provide support to improve independence by assisting with living skills,transport, social activities, medication, and personal care.
  • Keep customer records up to date using online systems.
  • Develop and maintaining professional relationships with people, families,caregivers, and key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development or implementation of care plans.
To Be Successful in This Role

You are punctual, friendly, non-judgmental, empathetic, and compassionate. Youare invested in providing the highest quality in disability services and arecompetent in working with people with a disability.

Requirements
  • Appropriate certificate level qualification in Disability or CommunityServices/individual support or R equivalent relevant experience in the humanservices industry.
  • Valid NSW Drivers C class licence, with the ability to drive vehicles inlicence class, including large cars and vans.
  • Must be fit to undertake the physical requirements of customer support,including the capacity to lift 10 kilograms unassisted.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office and other common systems.
Desirable
  • Experience in disabilities, mental health conditions
  • Advanced knowledge of services and programs under NDIS.
  • Understanding of Person-Centered Practices.
