As a seasoned business leader, this role involves leading the Enterprise Program Value Realisation Office and driving high-value outcomes across various initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise-level PMO leadership or large-scale program delivery within complex organisations.
Responsibilities
The General Manager will be responsible for:
- Further developing and leading REA's Enterprise VRO to create a centre of excellence for program governance, management, and value realisation.
- Providing oversight and governance across all enterprise programs, ensuring disciplined delivery, risk management, and stakeholder confidence.
- Driving project planning excellence by implementing scalable, fit-for-purpose delivery frameworks that complement the core program delivery.
- Facilitating strategic program design, ideation, and solution workshops with executive sponsors and business leaders.
- Ensuring end-to-end program execution from business case development to post-implementation review, with a focus on measurable value realisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in enterprise-level PMO leadership or large-scale program delivery within complex, matrixed organisations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing project delivery teams and PMOs from the ground up.
- Deep knowledge of project management and portfolio governance methodologies.
- Strong commercial and strategic planning skills, with the ability to align project delivery with broader business objectives.
- Highly effective communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to confidently engage at Executive and Board level.
