About the Role

As a Technical Director, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of engineers and managers. Your primary goal will be to deliver successful project outcomes while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Team Support
    • Support the Regional Manager; lead in their absence
    • Mentor and develop junior engineers
    • Manage team resourcing, workload, and project delivery
    • Guide remote construction teams
  • Technical Oversight
    • Lead or review design for critical infrastructure projects
    • Oversee investigations, testing, design, and risk assessments
    • Contribute to construction and closure planning
    • Produce and review technical deliverables
    • Attend inspections, review meetings, and workshops
  • Client Engagement
    • Maintain and grow relationships with clients
    • Support proposal writing, bids, and technical presentations
    • Represent the company at client meetings and industry events
Requirements
  • Chartered Civil or Geotechnical Engineer (or eligible)
  • Significant experience in tailings, dams, or mine infrastructure
  • Strong technical grounding with leadership potential
