About the Role
As a Technical Director, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team of engineers and managers. Your primary goal will be to deliver successful project outcomes while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Support
Support the Regional Manager; lead in their absence
Mentor and develop junior engineers
Manage team resourcing, workload, and project delivery
Guide remote construction teams
Technical Oversight
Lead or review design for critical infrastructure projects
Oversee investigations, testing, design, and risk assessments
Contribute to construction and closure planning
Produce and review technical deliverables
Attend inspections, review meetings, and workshops
Client Engagement
Maintain and grow relationships with clients
Support proposal writing, bids, and technical presentations
Represent the company at client meetings and industry events
Requirements
Chartered Civil or Geotechnical Engineer (or eligible)
Significant experience in tailings, dams, or mine infrastructure
Strong technical grounding with leadership potential
