Senior Network Solutions Architect

Description:

A leading IT services provider in Sydney seeks a Senior Network Solutions Architect to design, develop, and implement advanced network solutions for enterprise and telecommunications clients. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on delivery, offering opportunities to work on complex projects and mentor engineering staff.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a professional services team delivering secure, scalable solutions across diverse client environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy enterprise-scale network solutions
  • Act as technical lead on multiple concurrent projects
  • Develop solution design documentation, scopes of work, and implementation standards
  • Provide technical mentoring and guidance within the engineering team
  • Support pre-sales engagements and governance/best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet performance and security requirements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline (Master's desirable)
  • 8+ years' experience in IT infrastructure, with 3+ years in network architecture or lead engineering roles
  • Strong expertise in LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of server infrastructure
  • Experience with hybrid or cloud-native infrastructure
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity frameworks
  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management frameworks
