Job Description

The Sales and Guest Experience Coordinator is a key role within our site leadership team. This position oversees the delivery of exceptional guest experiences, aligned with our Guest Charter.

This full-time role covers both MICHAEL CLARKE RECREATION CENTRE and MICHAEL WENDEN AQUATIC LEISURE CENTRE.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Area Sales and Guest Experience Manager to lead a team in achieving subscription membership results across all programs offered by the facility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Training and developing frontline staff to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Achieving set new member and growth targets weekly and monthly.
  • Providing excellent guest service, both in person and over the phone.
  • Handling inquiries effectively and providing accurate information to prospective members.

Additionally, the Sales and Guest Experience Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in lead generation through digital and traditional marketing activities.
  • Conducting tours of the facility to convert prospects into members.
  • Setting staff rosters aligned with business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in sales and customer-facing environments.
  • Leadership experience in health, fitness, leisure, or recreation industries.
  • A strong understanding of business needs, KPIs, budgets, and service standards.
