Diploma Room Leader

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma Room Leader to join our team at Prospero Teaching.
About the Role:
- To provide high-quality care and support for children aged 0 – 5 years old, fostering their development and well-being.
- To work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging educational programs that meet the needs of our children.
- To maintain a safe and clean environment that complies with health and safety regulations, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising and managing a group of children, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Engaging with children in play, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of children's progress and activities.
- Fostering positive relationships with families and the wider community, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Participating in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
- Full-time or part-time (4 days a week minimum) commitment to the role.
- Minimum 1 – 2 years' experience working as a Room Leader or in a similar position.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
