Job Title: Employment Services Specialist

Job Summary:
As an Employment Services Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service to our clients by matching them with the most effective interventions to become job-ready and find sustainable employment. You will work closely with clients to identify and address employment and non-employment-related barriers, empowering them to achieve their goals and improve their wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure clients understand program requirements and expectations, promoting active engagement in employment or activities preparing them for employment.
  • Identify and coordinate assistance to improve clients' employment prospects through building self-esteem, facilitating access to non-vocational and vocational interventions, and accessing job-matching services.
  • Deliver and facilitate group-based sessions to support clients in improving their non-vocational skills and ability to complete job searches.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations to provide holistic support to clients.
  • Regularly review clients' needs to ensure tailored support is provided.


About You:
We are looking for a passionate and results-driven individual who is dedicated to making a positive impact in their community. You should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, liaise, and consult with various stakeholders. Proficiency in computer applications, such as Windows and MS Office, is also essential. A current driver's license and willingness to undergo a satisfactory Police Check and Working with Children Card check are also required.
