Job Title: Aps6 Governance Officer

We are seeking an experienced governance professional to fill a key role in our team at the APS6 level.

This position involves working under broad direction to provide strategic policy advice, analysis and secretariat services.

  • Prepare papers for board meetings and briefings for senior management.
  • Deliver reports and assist across the agency to coordinate and deliver on governance obligations.

Key Requirements:

  • Strategic and analytical skills with ability to contribute to complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills including policy briefs and reports.
  • Verbal communication skills and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Organisational and self-motivation skills with ability to be flexible and agile in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support preparation of policy documents and communications materials.
  2. Coordinate events and meetings.
  3. Conduct research and analysis.
