APS6 Program Officer Job

A short-term contract opportunity exists for an APS6 Program Support Officer to join a Government team.

  • Organising and planning engagement and consultations with stakeholders is key to this role.
  • Preparing meeting records and compiling post consultation reporting are essential tasks.
  • Assisting the team to manage existing contracts including processing contract changes and extensions is also required.
  • Drafting program and project management plans as needed and coordinating risk assessment activities is another important responsibility.
  • The candidate will work across multiple priorities.

This role involves other administrative, reporting or briefing preparations as needed. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in project management.
  • Strong organisational skills to coordinate multiple engagements and consultations.
  • The ability to manage logistics and administration for events ensuring all details are handled effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with industry stakeholders.
