About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to oversee our South Australian dealerships, covering four locations with over 100 employees. As Dealership Operations Director, you will have full P&L accountability and oversee new truck sales, parts, and service departments, driving dealership performance and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate operations in line with national strategy, developing a cohesive team culture, and delivering financial growth. Your role will focus on creating a collaborative, results-focused, safety-conscious environment, building strong relationships with departmental leaders, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a high-performing dealership team
  • Ensure P&L achievement across Sales, Service, and Parts
  • Foster a culture of zero harm and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with VPs and functional heads to drive consistency and operational efficiency
  • Strengthen customer relations and drive customer-focused initiatives
  • Oversee facility management, safety compliance, and employee engagement activities
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience within dealerships
  • Proven experience in driving team success, achieving budget goals, and optimising dealership operations
  • Effective interpersonal and coaching skills to inspire and develop your team
  • Demonstrated business acumen, with an ability to execute growth strategies
  • A deep commitment to safety and a collaborative working style
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus an attractive remuneration package and career advancement opportunities within a global network.
