Logistics Coordinator Position

The role of Logistics Coordinator has become a crucial part in key operations teams of commodity management businesses. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the logistics process from scheduling to collection and delivery.

This involves working closely with drivers to ensure clear and effective schedules taking into account industry regulations and driver management programs. You will also liaise closely with customers and transport operators to maintain a smooth and well-communicated supply chain that meets all contractual commitments.

About The Role Responsibilities

As Logistics Coordinator, your key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating container logistics including time slot management;
  • Managing and working with a wide stakeholder group including local packing plant and logistics team members;
  • Ensuring clear communication between departments and external parties;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports as required;
About The Ideal Candidate

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in coordinating logistics and managing stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. You should also be comfortable using Microsoft Office programs and logistics management systems.

Experience working in the commodity sector is highly valued but not essential. What is important is that you can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the success of our operations team.
