Accounting Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships.

You will also assist with Business Activity Statements, Income Assessment Summaries, Fringe Benefits Tax, and payroll tax obligations. Additionally, you will support tax planning and business advisory projects, liaise with the Australian Taxation Office and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients, and collaborate with colleagues and clients to deliver accurate, timely advice.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have 2–4 years of experience in public practice accounting, completed or be currently undertaking your Chartered Accountant/ Certified Practising Accountant qualification, and hold strong knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards, including Tax, FBT, and Capital Gains Tax.

Other essential skills and qualifications include excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, effective communication, and the ability to work proactively. You should also be comfortable using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or APS.

About This Role

This is a full-time Accounting/Auditing and Finance position within the Accounting and Financial Services industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in public practice accounting and be ready to step up into more responsibility in a supportive environment.
