The ideal candidate will be a tech-savvy senior accountant with leadership expertise, reporting to the Finance Manager and taking full responsibility for key accounting functions. Responsibilities include managing staff, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end processes, and BAS reporting, as well as preparing accurate accounting for fixed assets and inventory.

Suitable candidates will possess qualifications in Accounting or demonstratable experience, minimum 5+ years of experience as a senior accountant, sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and MYOB.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage two staff members; payroll & accounts payable & receivable">

  • End-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable processing">

  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls">
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements across financial processes">

Requirements

  • Qualification in Accounting or demonstratable experience in an accounting role (CPA/CA qualifications desirable)">
