Job Title: Lead Trainer

 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Trainer to join our team. As a Lead Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering alternative education programs in the Southport area.

 

About Us:

We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that provides nationally recognised training. Our mission is to support young people and adults to re-engage back into education who may have disengaged or are impacted by personal or health circumstances.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver alternative education programs in small groups of up to 10 students
  • Effectively manage the day-to-day running of the allocated site
  • Provide a flexible and supportive approach to teaching and mentoring students
  • Ensure continuous compliance against standard operating procedures
  • Recruit and manage students who would benefit from the program
  • Support and train coaches to deliver high-quality training
  • Conduct creative and technical development work in relation to program delivery
  • Align learners with suitable coaches and facilitate the setup of small groups
  • Complete audits on coach files and conduct coach critiques monthly
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in vocational education and training
  • Working knowledge of Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and National VET Regulator (NVR) Standards
  • Ability to develop, plan, implement and manage multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a strong team
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Experience working with youth
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:36 pm. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check prior to commencement.
