Job Title:

The Logistics Operations Manager will lead logistics operations and drive excellence across the warehouse site.

This pivotal role is responsible for delivering high-quality logistics services to customers, ensuring operational efficiency and long-term business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of logistics services for all contracted customers.
  • Set performance targets and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage site profitability and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Build strong customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Maximise warehouse capacity and utilisation.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture and develop team capability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, financial and operational controls.
  • Analyse site P&L and initiate corrective actions where needed.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and high-performance ethos.
  • Drive succession planning and talent development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' management experience in transport, logistics or a related industry.
  • Proven track record in managing large warehouse operations.
  • Qualifications in Business Administration, Logistics Management or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence positive change.
