Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Hospitality Service Lead to oversee the delivery of high-quality hospitality services in our residential aged care facilities.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a leader who can manage all hospitality functional areas, ensure efficient resource use, and prioritize resident-centered service provision. As the first point of contact, you will create a warm and welcoming environment, promoting meaningful relationships with residents, families, employees, and other stakeholders.

Your key focus areas include:

  • Managing the delivery of safe and comfortable home environments through high-quality services
  • Ensuring effective and efficient use of resources to deliver cost-effective hospitality services
  • Being visibly present within the facility, promoting a relationship-centered approach to service provision
  • People management and coaching/training staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong customer-centric approach and relationship building skills
  • Tertiary qualifications (TAFE/Diploma) in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with ability to positively influence others
  • Ability to build relationships with older people and provide empathy and patience
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with high emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Competent IT skills including Microsoft suite
