About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resource Business Partner to join our team at St John of God Health Care. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in driving innovative and efficient solutions for strategic HR issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide customer-focused human resource services to internal and external customers, including advice and support on policies, industrial relations legislation, enterprise agreements, and workforce strategies.
  • Deliver on-site HR support to drive strategy and assist managers with a range of HR matters, including complex case management, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with leaders to shape people strategy and culture, and support the development and implementation of business plans.
  • Actively identify gaps and propose changes necessary to cover risks, and foster a collaborative, high-performing, and client-oriented culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide professional, strategic, and operational workforce advice on the interpretation of policies and procedures, employment legislation, talent acquisition strategies, and change management programs.
Requirements
  • Tertiary level qualification in Human Resources and strong knowledge of employment legislation, compliance, and best practice.
  • Ability to coach and support managers in the development of their people management skills to improve motivation and performance within their teams.
  • Enthusiastic and committed approach with a track record of building strong trust-based relationships with stakeholders, and excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
What We Offer
  • Salary - $119,000 to $133,000 per annum (pro-rata if part-time), plus 11.5% superannuation.
  • Permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) position.
