About the RoleThis site-based DIDO/FIFO position is located at Western Downs near Chinchilla, QLD. As a Senior Project Engineer - Electrical, you will be responsible for conceptual and detailed engineering for HV substations, solar, battery, and electrical Balance of Plant (BOP) systems.
Your key focus will be on ensuring timely and cost-effective project completion in line with client contracts.
Your Key Responsibilities- Assist in project forecasting and constructability assessments.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including procurement, construction, and commissioning, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams during project execution.
- Review electrical works, test sheets, and approve ITPs upon completion.
- Support the Project Manager in ensuring compliance with UGL's Management System documentation.
