Job Title: Electrical Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain strict adherence to industry and company safety standards
- Develop and coordinate project schedules, resources, and budgets
- Engage in business development activities to grow our market share
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
- Control costs and maximize productivity through best practices and standard processes
- Coordinate change management and resolve client concerns
- Work with site superintendents and project forepersons to oversee contracts and budgets
- Provide technical knowledge and expertise to project administrators
- Manage financial aspects of projects through ongoing job forecasting
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses
- Oversee pre-construction meetings and determine needed resources
- Collaborate with prefabrication and design departments
- Set clear goals and expectations for forepersons and provide coaching and counseling
- Plan construction operations and schedule intermediate phases
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
- Estimate change orders and manage job closeout procedures
- Conduct post-project reviews to determine areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain professional relationships within the industry
- Electrical Journeyperson certification and/or past electrical project management experience
- Minimum 8 years of experience as an electrical project manager
- Proficient in project administration and management, including RFIs, submittals, change order management, and progress billings
- Excellent knowledge of industry products, practices, and standards
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize a high workload
- Superior IT skills, including a strong working knowledge of industry-specific software and Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of financial processes and experience managing contracts and budgets
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year, plus bonus. We also provide an extensive health and dental benefit plan, RRSP matching, paid training and development, recognition programs, fun staff events, opportunities for advancement, and a safe and inclusive work environment.
