Breach Compliance Specialist

Oversight and management of breaches within the organization are crucial for maintaining compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring that breaches are identified, investigated, and reported in a timely manner.
- The Compliance Breaches Manager will oversee the implementation of relevant external regulatory and compliance frameworks to facilitate compliance with breach reporting obligations.
- They will be responsible for overseeing local compliance requirements, policies, and internal guidelines to ensure that the organization remains compliant.
- The manager will also provide proactive input into the strategy for the compliance team and completion of sufficient planning of assigned objectives to ensure appropriate risk management and coordinated approach for initiatives.
- Furthermore, they will provide compliance advice to ensure the organization meets its compliance and conduct obligations.
- Proactive management of the organization's regulatory risk by providing advice that is consistent with regulator and ombudsman expectations.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for building relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Effective time management to meet deadlines.
- Strong influencing skills and passion for breach advising.
- Strong regulatory understanding and ability to form insights.
- Strong experience in compliance or risk management within financial services or general insurance.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work remotely with cross-functional teams, and relevant qualifications in business, commerce, or equivalent.
