Deputy Children Services Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Children Services Manager to join our team at YMCA NSW. As a key member of our Children Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care programs for children.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Coordinator in designing and delivering a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service following YMCA NSW values
- Oversee a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging programs following My Time Our Place Volume II principles
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Y NSW families, schools, and charity partners to turn the Y's global mission into local action
- Manage a dynamic team of Educators, helping everyone's individual growth
- Follow our development pathway to learn new skills and build your career
- You have a passion for working with children and families
- You have experience in leading others and managing a team
- You are able to critically reflect to develop innovative learning every day
- You are available to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours
- Certificate III, IV, or Diploma in Children's Services, or equivalent (Desirable)
- Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk CHCPRT025 OR CHCPRT001 (Required)
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check (Required)
- HLTAID004 /HLTAID012 - Current First Aid and CPR (Required)
- Police Check (paid for by the Y)
