About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Children Services Manager to join our team at YMCA NSW. As a key member of our Children Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care programs for children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Coordinator in designing and delivering a safe, effective, and fun OSHC service following YMCA NSW values
  • Oversee a calendar of inclusive, exciting, and engaging programs following My Time Our Place Volume II principles
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Y NSW families, schools, and charity partners to turn the Y's global mission into local action
  • Manage a dynamic team of Educators, helping everyone's individual growth
  • Follow our development pathway to learn new skills and build your career
About You
  • You will have a strong background in teaching or early childcare, with experience in leading others and managing a team
  • You will be able to critically reflect to develop innovative learning every day
  • You will have a valid NSW Working with Children Check and be able to supervise Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care hours
  • You will be committed to safeguarding and hosting safe learning environments
