Job Title: Engineering Verification Manager

Collins Aerospace, a business of Raytheon Technologies, is seeking an experienced Engineering Verification Manager to join our team. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and standards of work achieved in the delivery of verification and validation services are accurate, timely, and dedicated to meeting our company and Australian defence program requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a team of experienced engineering professionals to deliver verification and validation services.
  • Apply your verification and validation expertise to deliver timely project outcomes and superior quality of technical documentation.
  • Regularly review capabilities, performance, capacity, process, and system requirements against current and future needs to identify and address gaps.
  • Lead and champion the development of new engineering practices, plans, techniques, and technologies to deliver continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to influence and ensure that programs are delivered on time and in full.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Science degree.
  • Prior technical leadership of engineering projects involving product development of complex systems, including hardware and software development, as well as full system integration.
  • Prior experience leading a team and making programmatic and technical decisions.
  • Experience mentoring and supporting cross-functional engineering and project teams.
Desirable:
  • Experience and knowledge of command, control, and communications systems within the Australian Defence environment.
  • Demonstrated success developing and delivering complex, high-technology products involving software, hardware, and integrated systems, preferably in an Australian Defence environment.
  • Demonstrated experience as a systems engineer throughout the entire systems development process, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification/validation, as well as transition to production.
