Job Summary

The Technical Project Manager - Engineering Product Development will lead the technical development team and undertake project management functions to ensure the efficient development and performance of products and systems.

This role requires strong leadership skills and experience delivering high-complexity programs involving engineering change proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake project management functions and lead the technical development team by coordinating engineering tasks and activities.
  • Review and approval of project and technical documentation.
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions.
  • Follow company procedures and customer requirements using a systems engineering approach and agile techniques.
  • Lead and champion the development of new design approaches, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements

  • Qualifications (B.Eng, B.Sc) with Project Management and Systems engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to represent the company for systems engineering at internal and external customer meetings.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience delivering high-complexity programs.

Desirable

  • Demonstrated success developing and delivering complex, high-technology products.
  • Proficiency in Systems Engineering, including open systems architecture and secured cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience as a Senior Systems Engineer involved in systems development, including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, and verification and validation.

This position requires the ability to travel in-country or overseas where required. Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
