Intensive Care Unit Float Pool Nurse

Exciting opportunity to join our nursing team as a Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse, working weekend night shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs (MICU x2), Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU / MICU / NCCU.
Key Responsibilities- Float to assigned ICUs to support staffing and patient care needs.
- Provide critical care nursing care across units in accordance with acuity and policy.
- Apply float policy, floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
Weekend: 3x12-hour shifts, 13:00 – 01:30 (36 hours/week).
Qualifications Required- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.
- Proficiency with EPIC required.
- Must have IV start, telemetry, ventilator management experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred.
