Advanced Practice Clinician

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our PCU float pool. As a PCU float, you will have the opportunity to work on various units within the hospital, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive team environment.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic nursing position that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care to patients with varying acuity levels in a fast-paced PCU environment.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient plans.
- Routine Tasks: Perform routine tasks such as administering medications, dressing wounds, and performing IV starts.
- Experience: Two years of experience in a PCU or similar setting.
- Certifications: Current BLS/ACLS certification.
- Technology: Experience with Epic electronic medical record system.
- Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
As a PCU float, you will have the opportunity to work in various settings within the hospital, including the Ohio State University Hospital campus. You may be required to float to other campuses or units with equivalent or lower levels of acuity.
