Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Contract Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of contracts, ensuring legal and commercial compliance, mitigating risks, and fostering strong relationships between clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, negotiate, and amend contracts to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Monitor project progress and financial performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Oversee project start-up, procurement, delivery, and close-out to ensure timely completion
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients
  • Manage subcontractors from onboarding to claim assessments
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligations
  • Maintain relevant registers that track and substantiate the project's commercial position
  • Contribute to the project commercial strategy and drive commercial outcomes

About You

  • A minimum 6 years' demonstrated experience in contract administration is required
  • Detailed knowledge of contract law and regulatory compliance
  • A working understanding of project administration and project control principles
  • Analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Negotiation, conflict, and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Qualifications in Contract Management or a related field are essential
  • A police clearance due to projects being on a Defence site
  • The ability to meet country of origin and security clearance requirements
