Enterprise Solution Designer

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a Solutions Architect position.

This role is instrumental in ensuring that our enterprise systems continue to enable our Finance, Legal, Operations, People, Strategy and Underwriting divisions effectively.

Reporting to the Program Architect, this individual will be responsible for the end-to-end design of solutions and guiding implementation efforts.

This role will also work closely with our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to support new business requests efficiently.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the triage process, providing T-shirt sizing of potential solutions and producing high-level designs to support business cases successfully.

This professional will be supported by an Architecture team with deep experience in software design, Azure, API integration, UX/UI and service management expertise.

• Designing end-to-end solutions including system configuration, integration, security and infrastructure requirements.
• Guiding the configuration, testing and operationalisation of solutions to ensure seamless deployment.
• Selecting solution components within architectural guardrails.
• Collaborating with the Procurement Team to document and score Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFP) effectively.
• Working with the EPMO to produce solution options for business requests as input into business cases.
• Reviewing and overseeing designs and proposals produced by vendors to ensure quality standards.
• Ensuring the resilient deployment of solutions.
• Enhancing the scalability, security and maintainability of enterprise systems continuously.

• Strong knowledge of configuring, integrating and securing SaaS systems is essential for success in this role.
• A formal Architecture qualification would be highly regarded.
• Previous experience in architecting large system implementations such as CRM or ERP systems.
• Broad experience across the technology stack including networking, identity management and integration technologies, enabling guidance to project managers, engineers and system administrators.
• Expertise in networking architecture, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model, the TCP/IP model and commonly used network protocols.
• Experience in integrating Software as a Service (SaaS) products using Azure components and Power Automate.
• Experience in enterprise system architecture having previously worked on Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations.
• Experience in planning the migration of systems from private cloud to SaaS and public cloud solutions.
• Experience in secure design, including but not limited to access control, authentication, encryption, rate limiting and anomaly detection.
• Experience guiding development, testing and operationalisation of a solution that you have designed.
