About the Role:
As a Service Centre Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving operations, maintaining accurate records, managing purchase orders, and coordinating with logistics partners. You will also contribute to the plant's production reporting process by providing key logistics insights and supporting performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery and receipt of goods.
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Management of purchase orders to ensure timely processing and fulfillment, maintaining efficient inventory and stock levels.
- Coordination with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
- Implementation of strategies to optimize internal and external logistics operations, reducing travel distances and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Ensuring that all data related to logistics and inventory management is accurately recorded in the system, supporting data-driven decision-making and reporting.
- Contribution to the plant's production reporting process by providing key logistics insights, supporting performance analysis, and achieving KPIs.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Experience in a busy site administration role.
- Somewhat familiarized with an industrial environment would be beneficial.
- Prior experience in purchasing/stock control.
- Experience working with SAP or similar systems.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, utilizing initiative to complete tasks.
- High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills with an aptitude to build strong working relationships with a wide range of people.
- Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail, with systematic and timely follow-through.
- Able to handle multiple tasks/projects and operate well under pressure.
