About the Opportunity As part of a company-wide strategic transformation, with focus on continued future success, this is an exciting opportunity to join a greenfield procurement function working for an inspiring procurement head who is an absolute subject matter expert in the industry.
Reporting to the Group Manager you will be responsible for the successful implementation and application of tools, systems and frameworks that support the procurement operations and contract management registry to enhance functionality and efficiency.
You will lead and facilitate initiatives to improve capability and oversee the delivery of tools to ensure procurement analytics, compliance frameworks and program management are fully supported.
In short, this role is responsible for building capability, providing insights, building dashboards and ensuring the process, procedures and training manuals for procurement best practice are driving performance uplifts.
This is a procurement operations, best practice, continuous improvement role that will enhance the full source-to-contract and procure-to-pay mechanisms to secure efficiencies and smooth running of the function.
Is this You? The successful candidate will have an excellent track-record of delivering process improvements and fine-tuning enhancements to the support functions of a procurement team.
As a highly visible ambassador for the procurement team, you will be working collaboratively with core business units including Finance, Legal and IT on process refinements.
Your organizational skills combined with your logical, data driven thought processes will be exemplary.
You will be approachable, communicative and demonstrate an obvious administrative flair and people centric, customer-service orientated mindset combined with crisp analytics and report writing.
Experience building catalogues, setting up contract administration frameworks and coordinating a P2 P procure-to-pay system would be highly regarded.
Useful systems experience would include JD Edwards or similar ERP, Power BI and Excel.
