Transport Network Solutions Specialist

About Primary Connect

Primary Connect is an end-to-end supply chain partner, supporting businesses to connect communities with products.

As a Transport Analyst, you will provide strategic analysis and guidance on transport network design, strategy, and optimisation.

Your objectives include:

  • Analysing data to identify opportunities for cost reduction
  • Developing solutions to support business strategy
  • Creating accurate transport models to inform decision-making
  • Delivering well-documented business cases
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather information
  • Providing data analysis to inform tender preparation and carrier selection

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, 3PL partners, and carriers to drive discovery and develop innovative transport solutions.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Quantitative modelling skills
  • Commercial experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Supply Chain / Transport Modelling Software knowledge (advantageous)
  • Retail transport operations experience (highly regarded)

Excellent communication skills are essential, enabling you to communicate complex information effectively.
