Mission-Critical Water Infrastructure Project Lead

This role presents an exceptional opportunity to lead and deliver complex water infrastructure projects, driving growth and transformation within a rapidly evolving business.

  • Lead concurrent water infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Take full accountability for project safety, commercial performance, program delivery, and quality outcomes.
  • Engage closely with the tendering and commercial teams from early bid stage through to completion.
  • Oversee a strong support team, including dedicated HSEQ resources, post-award commercial and project controls support, and CA or QS on each project.
  • Manage 6-10 direct reports, providing guidance and mentorship to drive success.
  • Report directly to the General Manager, working collaboratively to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Work flexibly across office and site, with 2–3 days expected onsite or in the office each week.

Key Requirements:

  • Background in Tier 2–4 civil or utilities contracting.
  • Deep understanding of utilities infrastructure, particularly water and wastewater.
  • Ability to add value through early contractor involvement and engineering-led problem-solving.
