Workforce Health and Wellbeing Specialist

The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures for workers compensation and injury management in compliance with relevant legislation.

\
  • Developing and facilitating injury prevention and management strategies in a high-risk environment.
  • Managing and coordinating the return to work of staff and volunteers to ensure timely and seamless transition back into the workforce.
  • Liaising with managers/supervisors concerning staff and return to work programs.
  • Providing administrative, reporting, and logistical services.

Key requirements include:

  • Return to Work Coordinator Certificate
  • Knowledge and understanding of workers compensation and injury management legislation for staff and volunteers.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordination of return to work programs and development of policies.
