About This Opportunity

The role of HS&E Supervisor plays a pivotal part in ensuring the safe execution of major infrastructure works within a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Safety & Environmental Leadership
  2. Promote and uphold safety-first principles across all construction activities.
  3. Maintain awareness and compliance with HS&E management plans.
  4. Implement and govern project-specific HS&E documentation and systems.
  5. Actively monitor construction activities and support the project team with incident management and safety improvement initiatives.

This Is A Contract Role Within Our Berth and Commodity Handling Projects Delivery Team, Where You Will Work As Part Of A Multi-Disciplinary Team Under The Guidance Of The Project Manager And Project Controls Manager To Embed A Proactive Safety and Environmental Culture Across The Project.

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, with 2+ years in a dedicated HS&E role.
  • Proven experience working on civil construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of Australian Safety & Environmental Regulations.
  • Qualifications in Work Health and Safety (Cert IV or Diploma preferred).
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) and a working understanding of scheduling.
  • Previous experience facilitating safety training and inductions.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
  • Experience working with multi-contractor environments on major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently within project deadlines.
