Opportunity Overview

The role of Senior Financial Accountant at Bingo offers an exciting opportunity to drive financial management and reporting processes within the organization. Located in Auburn, NSW, this position is ideal for individuals with expertise in managing financial processes, providing sound financial input, and collaborating with senior management.

About the Job
  • Lead the month-end process, including group consolidation and management reporting to senior management.
  • Ensure all processes are running smoothly and identify opportunities for optimization and increased efficiency.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting policies and procedures, ensuring robust financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage end-to-end month processing, including group consolidation and management reporting.
  2. Analyse operating results and report on variances from budget.
  3. Collaborate with business partners by providing financial analysis and commentary.
  4. Manage junior staff and contribute to their development.
  5. Assist with annual financial statements and audit process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting.
  • CPA or CA with 3-5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Experience across various financial accounting policies, processes, and frameworks.
  • Proven experience in an environment requiring multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
