International Retail Company Seeks Financial Accountant

A prestigious international retail company is searching for a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. As a leader in the industry, this renowned organisation offers a unique opportunity for a motivated and experienced Financial Accountant to contribute to their success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Month-end Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements to ensure stakeholders have access to crucial business information.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct thorough reconciliations of balance sheet accounts to maintain financial integrity and detect any discrepancies.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Regularly reconcile bank statements with company records to identify any irregularities and prevent financial losses.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within existing processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform various tasks as required by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the finance team.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Financial Accountant role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • SAP Experience: Desirable to have experience with SAP or other relevant accounting software.
  • Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills to perform complex financial analysis and modeling.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build and maintain effective relationships.
Compensation Package:

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. The Perigon Group offers a competitive compensation package that includes benefits such as superannuation, leave entitlements, and professional development opportunities.
