About the Role

A key opportunity has arisen for an experienced Relationship Manager to join the Bank of Queensland team. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, retaining, and managing a portfolio of clients from the Health industry.

As a Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for a varied portfolio, consisting of mainly healthcare clients, with the support of a dedicated analyst.

The role involves promoting and selling commercial product offerings to core clients, determining financial situations and objectives, discussing options, and developing tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Promoting and selling commercial products to core clients
  • Meeting and/or exceeding individual margin and volume targets and performance objectives
  • Driving the direction and performance of client acquisition, volume/margin, and primary client relationship and satisfaction
  • Partnering with the Associate Relationship Manager to develop ongoing and quality client relationships
  • Managing relationships with clients, leveraging and aligning internal resources to maximise client satisfaction and retention
  • Working with clients' accountants to understand financial objectives and help implement plans to realise these objectives

About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in commercial lending
  • Experience with banking in the healthcare industry
  • Experienced and a passion for business development
  • Small business experience desirable
  • Ability to meet business development targets
