Event Planning Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Planning Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning and coordinating events, conferences, workshops, expositions, and education programs.

The Event Planning Expert will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the Events Manager to plan and execute a variety of events.
  • Assisting in developing event concepts, themes, and objectives.
  • Coordinating all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor management, equipment rental, catering, transportation, and accommodation.
  • Preparing and managing event budgets.
  • Creating event timelines, schedules, and itineraries.

The successful candidate will have a degree in public relations, marketing, or tertiary education in event management, and at least 2 years of experience working in a similar position. Previous government experience is desired.

This is a temporary contract position with a possible extension. The hourly rate is $65.35 + super. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week. We offer WFH flexibility and a range of benefits.
