About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Telecoms Rigger to join our team at HRG. As a crucial member of our team, you will lead a team in the installation, maintenance, and repair of external telecommunications equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications equipment, including pole and tower structures, mounting steelwork, RRU's, Antennas/Feeders/hybrids on towers/rooftops, terminating/re-termination of cables, and installation of earthing and labelling following client specifications.
  2. Work at heights and follow client specifications and safety guidelines.
  3. Interpret technical design documents and install equipment as per design.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  5. Work with Telstra, TPG, and Optus (4G/5G) equipment.
  6. Maintain, upgrade, and strengthen structures.
  7. Perform testing using PIM Tester, Spectrum Analyzer, Sitemaster, Fibrescope, and light source on Fibre cables.
  8. Assist Technicians in installation, fault-finding, and rectification of equipment.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 3 years' experience in the Telecommunication industry.
  2. Sound understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities.
  3. Must be permitted to work in Australia.
  4. Construction White Card.
  5. Australian driver's license.
  6. Telstra, Optus, and VHA/TPG safety inductions.
  7. RADHAZ Awareness.
